“Quick and quality consistent service by all staff, excellent portions and taste of food. Really enjoyed the new England clam chowder soup, corned beef hash, and French toast. Fairly lively environment but not too loud for conversation. Had to park on a nearby side street, not a lot of parking during busy times.”

I have also been to Effie’s at least a dozen times, usually for breakfast. The food, service, and atmosphere are top notch. “Clean and friendly atmosphere, fresh and delicious food, and good serving sizes. My wife had the Greek omelet with chicken and loved it and I had the house made corn beef has omelet that was delicious. Kids meals and salads were fresh too. Will definitely be back.”

“The only thing I would recommend is a little more flavor. The French toast needs cinnamon and vanilla in the egg mixture to give it a more French toast feel. It looked and tasted like the bread was dipped in eggs and cooked. The eggs needed a bit more salt but other than that everything else was great.”
